Terms of Service
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using AstroSim. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use AstroSim.
1. The Service
AstroSim is a web-based Python robotics simulator developed and operated by Astrogenius ("we", "us", or "our"). The service allows users to write and run Python code, simulate robot behavior on WRO competition maps, save projects to the cloud, and access educational tools — all directly in a web browser.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use most features of AstroSim. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or are used for any unauthorized purpose.
3. Plans and Billing
AstroSim offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Basic and Pro). Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to Paddle's terms of service.
Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account.
- Upload malicious code, scripts, or content.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from AstroSim.
- Use the service in a way that degrades performance for other users.
5. Intellectual Property
AstroSim and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by Astrogenius and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the Python code and projects you create. By using the cloud save feature, you grant us a limited license to store and serve your content to you.
6. Disclaimers
AstroSim is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained from using the simulator will match real-world robot behavior. Use the simulator as an educational tool and always test your robot in real conditions before competition.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astrogenius shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data or profits.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or by email. Continued use of AstroSim after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using AstroSim at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at our discretion, including for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
